These dogs are small in stature but wide and compact with thick, massive heads. The muzzle is short and pug. The coat comes in many colors, including fawn, white, black & brindle. Black is undesirable in the show ring but not a disqualification and is recognized by the AKC. Because the stocky legs are set squarely at each corner of the compact, muscular body, the Bulldog's deliberate gate has become a waddle. They are good family dogs, known for their courage and their excellent guarding abilities. A lot of human attention is needed for Bulldog happiness. These dogs need little exercise or grooming except for the face which should be wiped daily in the face folds with a damp cloth. They weigh 53 to 55 lbs. and stand 12-16" at the shoulders.

We all know there is not a vaccine available for every canine illness, as such we ask that your puppy be given NuVet Supplements. This supplement is important for the immune system, skin problems, bone structure, strength and cartilage development of your puppy. You will want to have this supplement on hand before you receive your puppy.Your puppies mother was on this supplement, therefore your puppy has been on this since day one. We feel very strongly about this supplement and believe it is worth every penny for the well being of your puppy. If you want your puppy to stay healthy, PLEASE keep him/her on this supplement!! We can't stress enough how wonderful this product is and we hope you want the absolute best for your puppy, GREAT health and a long life!! You will be more than happy with the results!!. Puppy training should be simple and harmless for the puppy and its owner A lot of times when you get your new puppy and you let him play outside he will develop a rash or red bumps on his belly. If not treated quickly this rash can be hot to the touch and very painful also setting up a skin infection. Once your puppy gets tall enough that the grass doesn't prick his belly this will no longer occur. Just imagine if you were on your belly rolling around in the grass you would have the same thing occur on yours. His belly is as sensitive as yours. Contact Us For Your Next Family Friend

When you receive your English Bulldog puppy you will need to know a few things.
First thing is first…BE SURE TO BUY and READ a copy of HOW TO RAISE A PUPPY YOU CAN LIVE WITH from front to back!!!!!! This is essential for the novice or experienced dog owner. This book is considered the dogie bible to me. It is a MUST READ!
English Bulldog puppies can suffer from heat stroke very easily, be sure to keep them cool enough in summer months. Any temperature of 90 degrees or above can be very dangerous. If you take your English Bulldog out during a hot day then be sure to wet them down and provide unlimited water to drink. Keep their time out to a minimum during extreme heat. Bulldog puppies can get cold very easily, be sure to keep them in a warm environment during colder months to avoid them catching a cold. During winter months it may be necessary to keep them warm by using a sweater or sweatshirt and dogie booties while outside. They should not be kept in temperatures of 60 degrees or less for extended periods of time.
Your Bulldog should be fed 3 times a day on a schedule for the first four months after arrival. At 6 months they can start to cut back to 2 times a day and at 12 months to once to twice a day. Provide clean fresh water at all times. Most dry foods are not very nutritional and are made mostly of fillers, so research of ingredients is key. Poor quality foods will cause excess defecating, clean up, gas and poor health. If you prefer to use dry dog food, then very small kibble is required throughout life. Bullies have a severe under bite and cannot chew and grind up food like most dogs. PLEASE BE SURE TO FEED A SUPER PREMIUM FOOD TO YOUR BULLDOG. Your dog’s health and immune system can only be as good as what is supporting it, and this is the food he eats. I will happily supply a list of wonderful foods for your puppy.
English Bulldog puppies will be teething when they arrive at your home. Please be sure to provide many chew toys for your Bulldog to help with this transitional period. Cow hooves can be found at many pet stores and are recommended. Stay away from pig ears and cheap rawhide, and greenies as these can cause severe diarrhea and or bloat.
If your Bulldog develops diarrhea then stop all food for 12 hours. If it persists for more than 24 hours contact your veterinarian immediately to prevent dehydration. Puppies can dehydrate very rapidly so it is to be taken seriously when needed.
Give your Bulldog lots of attention, love and instruction. They are just like kids and need to be taught how to behave and fit into their new environment. They are not baby geniuses, nor are they mind readers. Thy need patience and repetition with much positive reinforcement. If you cannot handle a problem that your encountering then contact a local professional canine behavior specialist, as all behaviors can be modified. There is always hope and resolve!
